Georgia Military Institute’s Class 59 is hosting the “Legacy” 5k. Class 59’s short term goals are to utilize funds for their Graduation and Dining Out Ceremony. The long-term goals of this 5k event is to enrich the legacy of the Georgia Military Institute through projects, publications, community outreach and education.
THE “LEGACY” 5K IS USATF CERTIFIED AND A QUALIFIER FOR THE AJC PEACHTREE ROAD RACE!!!
Event details and schedule
Runners can expect a great course with gently rolling hills through the campus of Life University. There will be music at the start and finish line along with vendors who have helped make this race possible. Runners can expect a fun, family atmosphere with a 1k fun run. There will be alumni from the Georgia Military Institute there as well as Class 59 who will be helping host the event. Each runner will receive a race day shirt and race day bag. Runners who place in their age and gender group, will receive special prizes. We look forward to seeing you there!
Plenty of free parking on campus (please follow the signs/parking attendants)

5k starts at 900am
Awards ceremony starts at 10am
