Upscale Thrift does more than sell clothes – they serve as a source of essential household items for our clients. Expert volunteers (a HUGE ‘thank you’ to Bill Ware and Pete Carpenter!) evaluate computer donations, make repairs, replace parts, and produce working home computers for CAC’s adult education students, making sure that clients have the tools they need to continue to learn and get themselves to more stable financial footing. To date, CAC has refurbished and donated more than 80 computers to neighbors in need.
