Special Education in DeKalb County Schools

If DeKalb does not gets its act together, it is possible that the district could be libel for violations of IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).

I believe this is just another example of the DeKalb County School System being too large (along with incompetent people in the Central Office) to meet the needs of all of its students.

The Georgia Department of Education is also coming under fire from the Department of Justice over possible violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act by segregating students with disabilities from their peers.
