Heartsaver First Aid/CPR & AED

This Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course provides the knowledge and skills that may help save a life. First aid training covers how to respond to medical emergencies, injuries, and outdoor emergencies. Students will learn to recognize and respond to life threatening emergencies including heart attack, stroke, opioid overdose, and choking. Students will learn the techniques of CPR and use of an AED for adults, children and infants.

Dates: January 23rd, February 27, March 27 an April 24

Times: Saturday- 9:00am-2:00pm

Location: North Shallowford Annex

Price: $90 (Includes the student manual and course completion card)

 

Heartsaver CPR & AED

 This Heartsaver CPR AED course provides the knowledge and skills that may help save a life. CPR or cardiopulmonary resuscitation involves chest compressions to keep blood flowing and rescue breathing to provide oxygen to the lungs along with quick use of an AED device. Students will learn the techniques of CPR and use of an AED for adults, children, and infants. The skills learned in this course will help you recognize and respond to cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help the person until more advanced care arrives to take over. Course card is valid for two years.

Dates: January 14th, February 18, March 18 an April 15

Times: Thursdays, 7:00pm-9:30pm
