Giveaway: The RoadMap Lab™~ A strategic approach to planning a future of dignity, purpose, opportunity, and independence for Neurodiverse teens and young adults

Dr. Dana Zavatky is an Atlanta based licensed psychologist and behavior analyst who has focused on children in the autism spectrum for much of her career. She has formed a company, Parallel  with her business partner and together they have recently published a book that many will find helpful as they navigate the many challenges of life.

The RoadMap Lab™ is a tool that helps individuals and their collaborative teams build more strategic, more sustainable, human-centered transition plans. While anyone can use The RoadMap Lab™, it was intentionally designed to support Neurodiverse teens and young adults as they transition from secondary schooling to post-secondary schooling, the community, and/or the world of work. The RoadMap Lab™ is simply designed to help the user build a bridge of support to the next stop in life’s journey.

At Parallel, our goal is to help individuals with Neurodiversities and learning differences reach their full potential and live fulfilling adult lives with dignity, purpose, and belonging. We create individualized, human-centered, comprehensive, and strategic “future plans” that consider the individual’s unique needs and goals for their own future. At Parallel, we believe that
comprehensive future planning must consider all aspects of life, including education, employment, community involvement, and social relationships. We do not make plans FOR people; we make plans WITH people. Our plans are based on the values and resources of the support system and the values, hopes, dreams, and abilities of the teen or young adult at the center.  Learn more about Parallel here.

Simply leave a comment on this post if you’d like to win a copy of The RoadMap Lab™ and we’ll choose a winner on Friday, June 16th, 2023.

  1. Thanks for always providing l and fun information! I would love to be entered for The Roadmap Lab giveaway! I have six grandchildren, MANY of whom could benefit from this information!

  2. This book would be perfect for us. Our son is on the spectrum and is making the adjustment from high school to life afterwards. Any help with this transition would be much appreciated.
