Delta just announced they are extending blocking middle seats and capping their capacity through April 30. Other airlines like Southwest and United stopped blocking middle seating after the holidays.
They are also looking at ways to make testing easier before travel by offering at-home testing and helping passengers find testing nearby. A passenger can administer an at-home test before departure, and bring another test on their trip to comply with any negative test requirement to re-enter the U.S. They have also recently expanded their rapid testing centers at Delta hubs in Minneapolis and Detroit in addition to Atlanta, Boston, New York-JFK, and Seattle.
Delta is focused on making it easier for customers to navigate the constantly evolving travel requirements. An interactive travel map is now available to customers to help with up-to-date details of travel requirements and restrictions for their destination.
