Untangling Alzheimer’s – The Science & The Medicine

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia. Currently, 5.8 million Americans live with Alzheimer’s disease, and this number is projected to triple by 2050. In this program, Dr. Allan Levey and Dr. David Weinshenker from the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at Emory University will discuss the characteristics of Alzheimer’s disease and how scientists and doctors are using neuroscience to improve diagnosis and treatment.
