In May of 2015 I wrote a review about the “addictive page turner” The Girl on the Train. By now you’ve probably seen the movie trailers even if you haven’t read the book. I love taking my hubby to movies without telling him anything about what to expect. I learned a long time ago (in 1993 way back to when The Firm was released in theaters) that he likes it best when I don’t constantly compare the movie to the book DURING the movie. So I sat quietly riveted to the screen as the story unfolded. He kept looking at me with this perplexed look on his face during the movie. When it was over all I remember him saying was “wow”. Girls night out or date night…it will get your mind off everything for two hours.
