The Sandy Springs Society, a women’s volunteer organization, recently announced its 2024 grant recipients. 42 local nonprofits are receiving a record breaking $370,000 in grants. Since its founding in 1988, the organization has given away more than $5 million in grants. These funds are raised through donations, cookbook sales, sponsors and major events including the Elegant Elf, a holiday marketplace, and Tossed Out Treasures, an ‘upscale resell’ event that also broke records of raising more than $139,000 this past March through the sale of donated items from Society members and the community.… Read More »
