Note from Audra:

A special thanks to the folks at Marlow’s Tavern in Dunwoody.  I reached out to their Marketing Director and mentioned these girls working down the street from their restaurant and she kindly sent me a $25 gift card for each of the traffic gals!

This morning I had the wonderful pleasure of seeing beautiful smiles on all of the traffic girls’ faces AND seeing them all together! (I haven’t seen this for quite some time because of their busy and scattered schedules)  I had a reason for asking them all to be together, but I didn’t know that it was the perfect day to do so.  In addition to their surprise, today is a very special day for Gigi and for Olivia (you’ll meet her very soon!)…it is the anniversary of their sobriety, a day they are both extremely proud of.  Congratulations to them! Getting the girls together is quite an undertaking, but Gigi managed it all and rounded everyone up.  Yes!  We met early this morning, before their work started so that I could present them with gift cards to Marlow’s Tavern.  Marlow’s was so generous in giving each of ‘our’ girls a treat to show them how much they are appreciated.  The girls were so surprised!  I told them that Marlow’s was hoping that they could enjoy time together over a nice meal one day after work.  The girls instead, immediately decided to go this weekend, a more relaxed time for them.  They will all be without kids and enjoy the time together sans reflective gear!  A big THANK YOU to Marlow’s Tavern in Dunwoody!  While I was talking with the girls this morning, Monte, the project manager at GS Construction, said good morning and commented that he is so happy working with the girls.  “They are all such hard workers and very dependable.  It’s a real pleasure to work with a group so determined to make their lives better.”  No sooner than he spoke these words, he got down to business giving the girls their orders and placement for the day.  It was my signal to leave.  It was time for the girls to start the work that gives them a special place in the heart of Dunwoody.

You are rich according to what you are, not according to what you have.

Thank you Marlow’s Tavern!!!   Watch for the girls to arrive around 3 PM on Saturday!
