Promise Learning – Youth Travel Camp

camppromiseAs summer vacation approaches, our children are getting more and more excited. For us, we have conflicting feelings about the upcoming “vacation”. We will now have little people in our homes all day long who will be eating everything in sight, running up the electric bill with lights and entertainment, and Read More »

Wealthy Habits – 4-Day Financial Literacy camp for Ages 17-21

WealthyHabits_Logo1A four-day program that will educate high school juniors, seniors, and young college students about being financially independent and responsible as they become adults. Often times our children move out feeling the excitement of being able to make their own choices, only to discover that they don’t know how to survive financially. A survey in December 2011 found that 53% of 18- to 24-year-olds are living with their parents or moved back with them temporarily during the past few years. A combination of economic factors and high debt leave our young adults with few options. Preparation is key to financial success.
