This. Is my kids’ favorite meal at home. This is their comfort food. Spaghetti and this quick, homemade tomato sauce. Saute a diced onion and 5ish cloves of garlic in olive oil. Then add 5 or more chopped basil leaves. Not browned, translucent. Add a can of whole peeled tomatoes and let simmer. I add Parmesan, balsamic vinegar, paprika, salt and pepper to taste. Stabby stab tomatoes to help break down. I serve it chunky but you can take the immersion blender to it if you have texture issues.

…1. Kids lunch menu is a big success for us. Kids ramen and chicken poppers with sushi rice and teriyaki sauce. 2. The matcha cheesecake is my new favorite dessert.
The fact that my husband and I spent the whole meal arguing about whether or not it’s better than Franklin’s should tell you everything. Fatty Texas-style brisket, central Texas style ribs, chorizo with Manchego and house made pickles, red onion and peppers. All delivered warm to my door by Secret Pint BBQ
