Bikes a possible solution to Dunwoody traffic

Dunwoody officials discussed a possible plan to bring more cyclists to the Perimeter area during a regularly scheduled city council meeting.

Dunwoody resident Erin Zeigler has received a national recognition

Erin has been named a 2016 Bank of America Student Leader. The Student Leaders program is part of Bank of America’s Summer Youth Employment initiative, and recognizes community-minded high school students across the country. The program connects them to employment, skills development and service.

It will be 2 doors down from Cafe at Pharr. Like the Alpharetta location, it will be open on Saturdays and Sundays but closed on Mondays. The Sandy Springs one is closed on Sundays.

Dunwoody council suspends order to DHA members to choose between group and city appointments

Dunwoody City Council voted June 24 to suspend enforcement of a city directive mandating members of the Dunwoody Homeowners Association to choose between their DHA memberships or serving on city boards.

The council also voted to seek at its July 11 meeting outside legal counsel for a second opinion on whether or not a conflict of interest exists for DHA members that prohibits them from serving on city boards that deal specifically with zoning issues.… Read More »

Dunwoody’s 2016 paving now afoot

Dunwoody’s 2016 paving program is now underway, with Bethesda Court, Bishop Hollow Court, Littlebrooke Circle, Brook Farm Trail and Waterton Court first on the list of roads to be paved, according to a city press release.

The City Council added an extra $250,000 to this year’s road paving  budget and funding will go toward the capital paving plan as well as sidewalk improvements.… Read More »
